Wonders of Nature: Great Barrier Reef and Uluru

If you've ever wanted to see something really beautiful, you shouldn't hesitate to go see the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. Both of them have been chosen to be inside the 28 finalists in the New 7 Wonders of Nature campaign.




In addition to being absolutely stunning, Tourism Australia has also come up with a really neat marketing idea to get people to vote for their natural wonders. They decided to put a voting booth pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It's located 30 km northeast of Cairns on a really tiny island of Upolu Cay. What else is on the island? Well, nothing. It's just a small sandbank island with a voting booth on it.
